Hi, I’m Milo!
I’m the resident mascot, director of first impressions, and head of security at Alliance Business Solutions. You’ll see me pop in here from time to time, just to make sure everything’s ok and that your visit to our website is a pleasant one. Gotta go, but I’ll let my human mommy tell you all about me.
Yes, that’s Milo, our resident mascot. He’s a Border Collie mix and has been with us for 11 years. We rescued him from the Toronto Humane Society when he was about 1-1½ years old – come to think of it, I think he rescued us just as much ♥. My oldest son spotted him on a casual visit to the THS and all it took was one phone call, “mom, you have to come down to see him” – it was love at first sight! Active and mischievous only begins to describe his character – but he’s also very lovable and fiercely protective of his family.
In his role as Director of First Impressions, he announces every arrival at the office – and it doesn’t matter how long it’s been since your last visit, Milo goes above and beyond to make sure you’re properly welcomed and comfortable during your stay (well, until his friend Squeaky calls him, and then he leaves you… sorry, he has priorities.)
Milo’s day-to-day responsibilities include helping me stay organized and on schedule – he lets me know when it’s time for breaks, meals or cuddles – I mean, meetings – and he even keeps my health in check with plenty of walks. Being the go-getter that he is, he’s always looking for feedback on his actions, and doesn’t shy away from letting anyone know how he feels too. We’ve challenged each other for that elusive alpha position, but I think he has a good understanding of who the boss is around here.
Milo enriches my life, he’s is a pleasure to work with, and I’m thrilled to have him on the team!
